Jedda Gordon

Jedda Gordon of Earth A is a character from Defenders of the Earth fan fiction. She is based on the character of the same name from the unaired television pilot, a short work featuring certain scenarios that were not used in the TV series. Jedda is introduced as the daughter of Flash Gordon, serving with him and others as a Defender of the Earth. Due to her telekinetic ability, it is believed that her absent mother is alien.

In fan fiction, Jedda contends not only with her challenges as a Defender, but with several personal matters, including romantic feelings for her teammate Kit, who has a girlfriend in his village home. When Jedda senses that the feelings are becoming mutual, she grows conflicted regarding what action to take. She also faces the possibility that she is bisexual, due to her secret alliance with Ming's daughter, Princess Castra, leading to unexpected affection. Furthermore, upon learning that her mother may be human, she begins seeking the truth about her parentage and her powers.
