Princess Aura is a character featuted in Defenders of the Earth fan fiction. Unseen in the TV series, though suggested to be present, she is the oldest daughter of Ming the Merciless, and the sister of Castra and Krotan. Defenders of the Earth: This Is Their Story also presents Aura as the sister of Hadea and Sheila, with the siblings collectively referred to as the Royal Five. Her skin tone varies from tale to tale.

In Dynasties, Aura is the generally flippant sibling who seeks political power on Mongo. In Defenders of the Earth: This Is Their Side Story, she is presented as a more level-headed woman who is much closer to her family members.
