Chapter Twenty-Three: Has Yet To Begin
Ming glanced at the screen as he watched the video clips of the Sailor Guardians in which Octon had discovered. He watched each of them with observation. He saw the woman in white, yellow and blue emit crescent shaped energy from her wand. "So this must be Sailor Moon."
Then he saw a blue-haired girl swing her hands, emitting liquid like mass. "Sailor Mercury."
Then he saw a girl wearing red, who Ming considered to be the boldest of them all, swinging her fist out and emitting a ball of fire. "Sailor Mars."
Then, he saw a brown-haired girl unleashing an electrical energy from her antenna. "Sailor Jupiter."
He noticed the girl in the orange garb, unleashing a burst of orange energy. "Sailor Venus."
He then saw a pink-haired girl unleashing heart shaped energy coming from her wand. "This small girl must be Sailor Chibi Moon."
Next on the screen was a sandy blonde haired girl unleashing a large, round yellow energy. "I see this is Sailor Uranus."
Then he saw a girl with bluish hair unleashing a huge ball of ocean mass. "Sailor Neptune."
Next on the screen, Ming saw a dark green haired woman unleashing a giant ball of dark red energy from her staff. "This woman must be Sailor Pluto."
Finally, Ming saw a short haired girl holding what appeared to be a glaive, unleashing some sort energy. "And the most dangerous Sailor Guardian, the Sailor Guardian of Destruction, Sailor Saturn!"
He paced the throne room, noticing how powerful each of the young women were as each of their attacks were typically effective, especially Saturn as she was close to eliminating Hadea and rumor had it that she had the power to destroy planets. This was something in which Ming had been giving some serious thought for future battles against them as well as the Defenders of the Earth.
"The Sailor Guardians are more powerful than I had anticipated." Ming stated, pacing the room. "The acts of my son didn't help matters much."
"The Sailor Guardians originate from the Legendary Silver Millennium." Octon spoke up. "The Silver Millennium which had long thought to have been a rumor."
"But it is not, Octon!" Ming exclaimed. "As you can see. I figure they would be powerful, but I had no idea what I would be up against. They are much of a threat to me as are the Defenders of the Earth, possibly more of a threat."
"Sire." Octon tried speaking up.
"Not now, Octon!" Ming silenced his super computer. "I have to think about a way to defeat the Sailor Guardians as well as the Defenders of the Earth! They are a threat to us all!"
He was startled upon hearing a loud crashing noise.
"What is this?!" Ming demanded.
"There is an intruder at Ice Station Earth." Octon announced.
"Garax," Ming called for his top soldier, "prepare to attack the intruder!"
"Yes, sire." Garax replied.
He looked on as a female figure strolling down the throne room with a smirk on her face. Ming was clearly not pleased with how this arrival was acting.
"Reveal yourself at once." Ming demanded firmly.
"As you wish." the figure replied. She removed her hat and coat, revealing her to be in white with mouse ears. "Chuu!"
She blasted at some of the ice robots before stopping her attack and looking at Ming. "So you say you wanted the Sailor Guardians eliminated?"
"That is correct." Ming nodded. "What is it of your concern?"
"I am Sailor Iron Mouse of the Shadow Galacticia!" the girl introduced herself.
"So, I take that you know about the ones know about the Sailor Guardians, correct?" Ming asked.
"That is correct." Sailor Iron Mouse nodded.
"And you are willing to destroy one of your own?" he asked in curiosity but with some skeptic in his tone. "Your own fellow Sailor Guardians?"
"Chuu!" Sailor Iron Mouse answered with glee. "I am a Sailor Guardian from the farther part of the galaxy, and I am also here under the orders of my boss: Lady Galaxia!"
Ming stepped back in surprise as a dark form of energy appeared in the room. Then a woman appeared wearing golden armor, glancing at everyone in the room.
"May I present to you, Lady Galaxia!" Sailor Iron Mouse introduced the woman. "The most impressive lady in the universe!"
"Enough of these games!" Ming exclaimed. "What brings you here?! Are you here to destroy the Sailor Guardians?"
"That is correct." Galaxia answered before she proceeded to explain. "The Sailor Guardians have a power source within their physical bodies known as star seeds. They have true star seeds known as Sailor Crystals."
"So I trust you want a bargain then." Ming crossed his arms. "Name your price."
"I bargain with no one!" Galaxia exclaimed.
"Neither do I." Ming replied before pointing at her. "Name your price!"
There was a short pause before Galaxia finally answered. "Very well. There are actually two things I am after in your planet: the Sailor Crystals from the Sailor Guardians and Rick Gordon, the one person who has an extraordinary power that has yet to be awakened."
Ming paced the room for a minute, giving this some serious thought. If this woman was as serious and was really after the Sailor Crystals, his job could be easier to conquer Earth with the Sailor Guardians out of the picture. She also wanted Rick, and with this, it could bring anguish to his number one enemy: Flash Gordon.
He faced Galaxia with a smile on his face. "So be it. Flash Gordon's son, Rick, shall be yours along with the Sailor Crystals that you mention."
"Good." Galaxia grinned with satisfaction. "Very good, and Sailor Iron Mouse here will be sure that the targets are in your grasp so you can deliver them to me."
"Yes," Sailor Iron Mouse replied, bowing to the woman. "I will not fail you, Lady Galaxia."

"I wouldn't worry too much, Rick." Minako tried to assure Rick as he was looking down the entire time, walking home from school.
"Especially my dreams at times." Usagi added.
"Sometimes, we have dreams that aren't premonitions. I think you should worry about Jedda and the baby." Minako stated.
"It is possible that a new enemy might appear to be an aid to Zorelda." Rei stated. "Make no mistake. Minako's right though. You should focus on Jedda's well being as well as the baby's."
Rick felt some sort of relief upon hearing that. He could only hope that his dream was not a premonition like the ones Rei would have. He looked up as the group made it to the doorway of the mansion and the door opened.
"Welcome home!" Mandrake greeted the group.
"Home!" said a small, unfamiliar voice.
Rick paled upon the sight of the little girl next to Mandrake. She matched the description of the girl in his dream minus the Sailor fuku. "That's her. The girl from my dream!"

Usagi and the others looked on in surprise upon seeing the new face at the mansion with Mandrake.
"Who is this child?!" she asked in surprise.
"This is Chibi Chibi," Mandrake introduced the group to the child, "the little sister to Usagi and Chibiusa."
"What?!" a reply from both future mother and daughter came out.
"What?" Chibi Chibi echoed their speech.
"Your little sister, Usagi and Chibiusa?" Makoto asked. Usagi looked as the rest of the Defenders and Setsuna made their way to the living room.
"No way!" Rei exclaimed.
"Maybe so." Ami replied.
"This is too weird." LJ quipped.
"I'll say." Kshin nodded in agreement.
"Little sister?" Chibiusa squeaked.
"Then wouldn't she be Usagi's second child?" Haruka asked.
"Eep!" Hotaru squeaked. Usagi looked at Mamoru, who appeared to be calm at the moment. She couldn't help but to wonder if that was the case.
"Yikes!" Minako exclaimed. "Your name's Chibi Chibi, is it?"
"Is it?" Chibi Chibi echoed.
"Hey," Minako replied, "cut it out!"
"Hey, cut it out!"
"Copy cat!"
"Copy cat!"
"Oh, you're a little brat." Minako sneered at the girl.
"Oh, you're a little brat."
"In any case," Usagi stated as she glanced down at the small girl, "it doesn't seem she's here to warn us about some danger like when Chibiusa first came, yeah?"
"Yeah!" Chibi Chibi exclaimed.
"No." Chibiusa crossed her arms. "It seems that's all we will get from her."
"No." Chibi Chibi copied her word.
"Seriously?!" Chibiusa exclaimed in annoyance.
"Seriously?!" Chibi Chibi echoed.
"Well in any case," Mandrake stated with a small sigh, "Usagi, your mother asked me to have you look after her."
"I had a feeling mama had something to do with this child coming here." Usagi groaned in annoyance.
"Well," April spoke up, "maybe she was jealous of Chibiusa's stories and decided to come here for herself. That's only my theory, based on what I heard of the Moon Kingdom."
"If I'm being honest," Sheila added, "the more I look at her, the more she does resemble both Usagi and Chibiusa."
Usagi looked at the small girl in awe. "So if that's the case, then she may very well be mine and Mamo's second child."
"That's not possible." Setsuna spoke up. "I cleared things up with Mamoru shortly before you guys came here from school. As far as I'm aware, Small Lady is Neo Queen Serenity's only child."
Usagi looked up as Chibiusa sighed with relief.
"Then who is she?" April asked in confusion.
"I feel it's best to be weary of her." Setsuna advised the group.
"Seriously?" Usagi asked. She glanced over as she noticed Rick taking a couple of steps back.
"She's just a little girl," LJ chimed in, "with all due respect of course."
"She may be young," Setsuna advised the group, "but it would be foolish to blindly trust her without knowing who she is."
"I think it's time for homework for the young group." Mandrake informed the group. "Dinner will be ready in about an hour."

Jedda looked on in concern as Rick appeared to be more distant as he had appeared earlier today, even as everyone was doing homework at the library. She looked over at her boyfriend. "Rick? What's the matter?"
"That was the little girl I saw in my dream." Rick answered. "Chibi Chibi was the little girl who was in my dream."
"Hmmm?" Minako quipped, overhearing the conversation.
"You saw Chibi Chibi in your dream?" Usagi asked.
"Yeah." Rick nodded.
"You said the girl was in the same outfit as the Sailor Guardians." Jedda stated.
"I also said she had pinkish red hair and she was a small girl." Rick pointed out. "Other than the lack of Sailor Guardian suit, Chibi Chibi matches the description of the little girl in my dream."

Usagi looked on in worry with the rest of the team. She couldn't help but to wonder what Chibi Chibi had to do with Rick's recent nightmares and the events that were to come.
"You know," Kshin spoke up, "maybe Chibi Chibi looking like the girl in your dreams is merely a coincidence."
"Kshin has a point." LJ nodded in agreement.
"You may not understand dreams and visions like we do," Rei spoke up, "but our dream visions, the latest, the new enemy is not only after us Sailor Guardians and the Necklace of Oros, but Rick as well."
"What?!" Hotaru exclaimed in shock.
"Why would someone be after Rick?" Chibiusa asked.
"He's been targeted by Ming in the past," LJ answered, "like when he wanted his weather ring and when he wanted information about Monitor's Defense Systems."
"Maybe it's something more he has in him that none of us are aware of," Ami suggested, "not even Rick."
Haruka sighed. "It's only a matter of time before we find out."
Usagi sighed sadly.
-Sailor-Moon-Defenders-
Usagi looked outside the window of her bedroom. She was concerned with the most recent events going on. With Ming the Merciless on their case on a regular basis and the witch Zorelda in hiding, there was plenty enough threats going on. With the suspicions of a new threat coming, this brought her to great concern. She knew enemies would be after her silver crystals and possibly Mamoru's golden crystal, which brings the Sailor Guardians there to protect them.
The Necklace of Oros was also the object these threats were typically after, meaning Jedda was also at risk. She wondered why this threat that was far into the galaxy was after Rick.
"Usako?" Usagi turned around to see Mamoru behind her.
"Are you okay?" Mamoru asked.
"I think so." Usagi answered. "I was just thinking."
"About the recent conversations?"
"Yeah." Usagi looked down. She took a deep breath before continuing to speak. "Why would someone of our threat level go after Rick? He doesn't have any supernatural abilities or objects that a threat like Ming or Zorelda might be after."
"I have no idea, Usa." Mamoru shook his head as he looked up and she looked up seconds later. "I honestly don't know. Rick's a smart guy and a kind person but you never know. We'll never know what the Defenders have within them, just like Jedda being part Netherworlder from a blood transfusion."
He grasped her hand just a mere second later.
"Don't worry." Mamoru assured his lover. "We will see to it Rick will be safe."
"That's right." Chibiusa chimed in as she walked into the room. "We will see to it all of our friends will be safe."
"And no matter what it takes," Mamoru added calmly while holding Usagi in a loving embrace, "we will defeat all of our threats."
The group was startled upon smelling a sweet smell.
"Huh?" Mamoru stated in delight.
"What's that smell?" Usagi asked.
"It smells… sweet." Chibiusa stated, observing the smell.
"Chibi Chibi?"
The three turned around and notice the small girl holding an incense burner.
"Chibi Chibi!" Chibiusa exclaimed.
"You want to sleep with us?" Usagi asked.
"Chibi!" Chibi Chibi exclaimed happily.
"Hey!" Chibiusa exclaimed. "What about me?!"
"Don't worry." Mamoru replied calmly. "You can sleep with us too."
The three noticed Chibi Chibi holding the incense burner.
"What is that you're holding?" Mamoru asked.
"Is it incense?" Usagi added.
"Did you bring it from Mandrake's room?" Chibiusa asked as she leaned down towards the girl, facing her. "He doesn't like it when people take things from his room or library without permission."
Chibi Chibi only replied. "Chibi."
"I don't think Mandrake owns a burner like this." Mamoru crossed his arms. "I don't believe he has a scent like this that I know of."
"This scent of sweet Osmanthus." Usagi observed the sweet smell. "I feel like I've smelt it before."
"So have I." Mamoru nodded in agreement.
"Me too!" Chibiusa exclaimed with glee.
-Sailor-Moon-Defenders-
Rei looked up as she was walking with Ami, Makoto and Minako, turning in for the night. The Outer Guardians returned home for the night shortly after dinner and she figured they were turning in for the night as well and they will be back tomorrow. She couldn't help but to think of Cathleen as they were walking to their room. The past few days, she had been eyeing Rick, just as the others were, except she seemed to be after him for some other reason but she just couldn't put her finger on it.
"Do you think Rick will be okay?" Ami asked, pulling her from her thoughts.
"I'm not for sure." Rei answered.
"Why do you say that, Rei?" Makoto asked.
"Rick saw Chibi Chibi in his dream and it appears our new enemy is after him too." Rei explained. "If that's the case, Rick Gordon might have more to worry about besides Jedda and their unborn babies."
"Babies?!" Minako quipped.
"I had a vision that Jedda is expecting twins. A boy and a girl."
Rei took a deep breath as she opened the door. The group looked to see Usagi, Mamoru, Chibiusa and Chibi Chibi all sleeping in the same bed.
"Mandrake did the right thing giving Mamoru a large bed." Minako stated. "Even Chibi Chibi is sleeping with them."
"I think we should get to our beds quietly." Rei told the others in a whisper.
"Good idea." Makoto nodded in agreement.
The four entered in the room and quietly went to their beds.

Using the power of the Necklace of Oros, Queen Hadea conquers the galaxy. The Defenders seek help from a group called the Sailor Guardians.
Rei notices the effects of battle on Usagi. Meanwhile, both teams make desperate efforts to end the clash. The Sailors approach Hadea's temple, and Flash's daughter returns to lend her aid.
Each side becomes more powerful.
